Our Beginning

After starting a blog for me, I have also decided to start one for our family. I wish I could say our situation is an interesting and different one, but sadly in this day and age, blended families tend to be more the norm. I figure I'd start out by telling you guys a little about our family. Brandon is 33 and I am 25. He is from Missouri and I am from Alabama. We have been together for about 6 months but were friends for almost a year for before that. Similar circumstances in separating from our significant others helped us connect on a level I believe not many couples understand. We met over the internet through an online game. Go on and snicker.....you know you want to. However, it was something I started playing while on bed-rest with Seth that gave me a way to occupy time and help keep my mind from turning to mush. We still play occasionally when we have time around our 3 children. On to the children. Kyla just turned 4 in February, Hannah will turn 4 in June, and Seth turned 2 in February. As you can imagine, things are quite loud and rowdy at our house. Brandon and I will be getting married some time this year. We haven't set a date because a wedding isn't exactly in the budget for two single working parents, but we know we will be doing something this year to join the two families together in one group of craziness. So for now, that is about it. We will be posting on here all kinds of shenanigans that our family gets into and any news we have about when we will be running off to the courthouse unless someone wants to volunteer to spring for a wedding. lol Look for camping fun later this week.
